The Coach & Horses is an attractive country Inn built of golden Northamptonshire Stone. The building dates back to the 1700's and was renown for the fastest change of horses in the days of the stagecoach.
Most of its original features have been retained and is known for its hospitality, comfort and warm welcome.
The Licencees, Les and Anthea have been at the Inn for over 20 years, offer a superb selection of food ranging from traditional dishes, snacks and tempting meals that could grace any table.
We pride ourselves in supporting locally sourced products, including our meat and fresh vegetables which are delivered daily, we have built a good relationship with our suppliers.
Special dishes created by our chef change every few days.
The inside of the Coach & Horses boasts a lovely cosy inglenook fireplace.
We offer a terific range of good wines from around the world to compliment our fine food. For the beer connoisseur we have a choice of three real ales or continental lager.
The Coach & Horses is situated in the heart of Northamptonshire ideal for visiting many attractions such as Althorpe House, Lamport hall, Cottesbrooke Hall, Holdenby House, to name but a few.
We are situated half a mile from Pitsford Reservoir which boasts a good sailing club, fishing, and bicycle hire for the energetic. For the racy type we are located ideally for Towcester races or Silverstone circuit.
We are now able to offer spacious bed and breakfast accommodation in our stable courtyard, situated at the rear of our quaint Inn.
All rooms have En-suite, Digital TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, and Wireless Internet. We also serve breakfasts from 07.30am - 10.30am, ideal for the business meeting away from the office, or just for a traditional breakfast on the way to work.

Driving directions
We are ideally located at the north end of the village of Brixworth - just off the A508 road from Northampton to junction 2 of the A14 - about 10 minutes from the A14 and 20 minutes from Northampton.
From Northampton, take the A508 out through Kingsthorpe towards Pitsford Reservoir, When you get to the roundabout with Pitsford Reservoir and Sailing Club to the right and Brixworth signposted to the Left, go straight over.
At the next roundabout (signposted Scaldwell and Old to the right and Brixworth to the left), go left into Brixworth.
Follow the road round a sharp left-hand bend and the Coach & Horses is on your left-hand side.
